Dungeons & Dragons is all about epic stories and adventures that rival even The Odyssey. Well, us here at HeavyShelf wanted to challenge Homer at his own game of adventure. With I, Erick Schwartz, as your Dungeon Master guide, I wanted to tell a story with the amazing HeavyShelf team; Shane, Parker Sara and, of course, everybody’s favourite cloven-hoved mammal, Moose. We wanted to write up a quick summary as to what has happened up to this point, in my handcrafted land of Alzurkania. Continue reading “Good Morning D&D – What You May Have Missed”
Whether you are in the middle of Child of Light or haven’t started yet, this guide will go over characters, their abilities, combat and other important aspects of the game. There is some backstory on the characters so if you want to remain spoiler free I advise skipping this article or only reading up to where you are in the game.
For a game that was released in 2014, Child of Light still holds up very well in today’s game market. It is a pretty game with a captivating story and thematic music. I didn’t know much about the game as I had only watched the trailer, but I was quickly enamored by the characters and story that you find yourself in.
At the time of writing this review I have only played part of Pokémon Sun and maybe a month of Pokémon GO. The Legend of Zelda took most of my time as a kid so I missed the Pokémon franchise. That being said, if I describe aspects of the game and it is old news to you – please take the previous statements into consideration. I stopped playing Pokémon GO a while ago, and therefore deleted the game from phone. I will not be going over the integration from Pokémon GO to Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! A new item has been datamined from Pokemon Go’s latest update by Chrales. The Team Medallion has not been officially announced by Niantic, but according to the description, it is an item that will allow the player to change teams.
I am going to start this review by speaking about the mechanics of the game. While Titanfall 2 has a solid campaign, it is rather short and not where I would expect most peoples’ time to be spent. Online multiplayer is by far the meat of the game.
The gameplay is excellent; you move smoothly and are able to transition from wall running to sliding along the ground while turning your opponent into a pin cushion. Each Titan feels unique and requires a different approach to how your opponent’s Titan will be transformed into scrap metal.
