Respawn’s Apex Legends has taken the world by storm, with the playerbase reaching 25 million at the latest count. It is unsurprising that with the popularity of the game that Respawn is still working hard to ensure that continual improvements are happening. The latest patch also hints at new features, according to data miners.

Fallout 76 given away with $5 item

It’s common knowledge by now that Fallout 76 was a huge flop. However, even I was surprised to see just how little the game seems to be valued by Polish retailer X-Kom. Their website has a bundle which includes a set of four pairs of PS4 controller thumbsticks and a copy of Fallout 76 for the PS4. The price of the bundle (which is currently live on the site but unavailable) is roughly $70, which is the price of the two items bought separately. That all seems perfectly normal, but the story doesn’t end there.

Epic Games’ refunds: a bloated side-quest

Epic’s refund policy is a mess, but it’s not so much the policy itself. Fourteen days after purchase and two hours of gameplay is pretty standard, but the implementation of it is sloppy and feels like a system from ten years ago, and is completely unintegrated with user accounts.  Here is what I discovered after unfortunately having to use it today.

One Finger Death Punch 2 demo available

After One Finger Death Punch was reviewed back in January on Five Dollar Dives, we looked in anticipation for the sequel. At the time, there wasn’t much information about it other than that it was upcoming. However, the original title is best summarized in this way: “There is a moment of calm when you first start, then the enemies start to appear. The time has come for you to unleash your fingers (or thumbs) of fury, with the results being a spectacle of bodies flying and bloodshed everywhere.”

Store Wars: Epic poaches Metro Exodus from Steam

The war between Epic Games and Steam has escalated in a way that is shocking, yet unsurprising at the same time. Announced Monday, Metro: Exodus, the post-apocalyptic shooter from 4AGames and Deep Silver will be exclusive to the Epic Games store. Epic’s exclusives until this point, were brought into the light as exclusives for their store from the outset. However, in this case, they straight up bought the exclusivity rights two weeks before release.
